Wedding Packages & FAQs

To give you an idea, the average investment for a same day wedding & reception package including two photographers & a large 40 page wedding album starts from £2825. However, not every wedding requires the same coverage, nor does every couple desire a wedding album or a pre-wedding photoshoot. Therefore, your photography package can be bespoke & tailored just for you. Please get in touch & tell me more about your wedding & budget, you are also invited to visit me at my studio, by appointment, where we can sit down over a coffee to discuss a detailed brief of all your requirements. I can showcase some sample wedding albums & it will also give us an opportunity to get to know each other before you make your final decision.

What's included within your wedding packages?
  • An initial consultation at the time of booking, followed by as much “me time” & advice as you need during your wedding planning & even after your honeymoon
  • My full commitment throughout your big day along with the energetic support of my second photographer.
  • A minimum of 3 weeks spent culling & editing your images. This could sometimes take longer, but that only means I’m making extra effort working on your moments.
  • The more we observe the more we shoot, therefore there is no limit to the number of final images that you will receive. An average wedding & reception could generate anywhere between 1000-1500 final images. High-res images will be presented to you on USB – edited for correct exposure, colour accuracy & impact.
  • A large 40 page wedding album, handmade in the UK by our award winning printing-lab. Telling your story using selected images from your day.
  • The final quote will include travel & expenses
  • Licence to print your images for personal use & sharing
  • Optional online private gallery to share with your friends & family
How do you approach weddings & what is your style of photography?

I would describe my style of wedding photography as photojournalistic & documentary. I wish to tell you story in a style which is candid, natural & meaningful. I look to capture people being people, and create images that are real & emotionally evoking. Click here to find out more about my approach to weddings & photography.

Do you provide cinematography?

Although I specialise in wedding photography, I work with a good network of wedding cinematographers & videographers who I am more than happy to recommend – as I have developed a strong relationship with these companies, it is possible to design a combined bespoke package to bring you the best possible value. Alternatively, I’m  happy to work alongside any other company of your choice.

We have had cheaper quotes, are you able to price-match?

I wish to keep my packages competitive, however not all photographers can be compared “like for like”. Experience, photography-style, ethos, work-rate, business costs & the efficiency & quality of service from beginning to end will vary. So as with most things in life, you will most likely get what you pay for.

The quality & style of my photography has to be valued by you; if you genuinely do appreciate my work, I will try my upmost to accommodate your budget & will be willing to compare & contrast my prices with other similar photographers.

What equipment do you use?

Whilst I am a strong believer in “the camera doesn’t make the photographer”, I do also appreciate that having the best available tools to do a job can help achieve desired results when optimally utilised. I’m therefore always updating and adding cool bits to my camera bag. I also invest heavily in the most up-to-date & efficient editing software & hardware. I would be happy to explain my photographic equipment in more detail should you have further questions.

What are the advantages of having a second photographer on the day?

The obvious advantage of having two photographers is that we can easily provide coverage of both bridal & groom preps. Furthermore during the ceremony itself you will get two perspectives at any one time & thus you can expect more images. By having a second photographer backing me up, taking safe shots will allow me freedom to get creative and take risks to capture unique images. It also allows one of us to concentrate on you (the couple), and one to document your guests or other details when needed. – I am happy to shoot smaller weddings by myself, providing everything is discussed in detail before booking.

Are you able to photograph smaller events such as registry weddings or mehndi nights?

I am indeed able to cover smaller functions. If I am unavailable for specific dates, I will get somebody else from my trusted network of like-minded photographers to cover it. Get in touch to tell me about your plans 🙂

Is a pre-wedding engagement shoot for us?

Pre-wedding photoshoots or engagement shoots offer an informal, casual, relaxed opportunity to have some fun in front of the camera. We can shot at a location of your choice, perhaps somewhere meaningful like the placee that you had your first date or even somewhere completely random but equally as appealing. Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, for you to discover how I work & for me to get to know you as a couple & learn what makes you both tick. The images provide a great opportunity for having a signing frame on display at the reception, or even to use as a “save the date” invitation to send out as emails or to share on social media. Engagement-shoots start from £345 for a 2 hour session.

How many photos should we expect to receive?

Enough to tell your story as I value quality over quality. That being said, unlike others I don’t hold images back which I believe you will appreciate. However, to be efficient with my workflow, I will filter through all the images removing any that are what I deem ‘unusable’ or ‘duplicates’. This is all part of my editing process thus making it a more pleasurable experience for you when you sit down to view the images with your family & friends. On average you could expect to receive over 500 images for a wedding only & over 800 images for a wedding + reception, but this will depend on how much there is for us to shoot at any given wedding. All images will be presented to you in high resolution JPEG format.

How long will we have to wait for our wedding photos?

It could take up to 8-12 weeks for you to get your final edited images, although you could potentially receive them sooner depending on the time of year and our workload at the time. What I would never feel comfortable doing is to rush an edit for the sake of meeting a deadline only to compromise the quality of my work. I am a full time wedding photographer therefore all my time and efforts are concentrated on providing a satisfactory & efficient service to all my clients.

Will we get a chance to have a couple's photoshoot on our wedding day?

Of course! This should go without saying. I like to keep my photoshoots fun & spontaneous, but at the same time I feel it is important to use  this part of the day as an opportunity for you both to relax, unwind & take a moment to take it all in; I therefore encourage couples to dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes during your wedding day for us to sneak away from all the guests & have some fun. I will with the help of an assistant use some specialist-lighting to create images different & unique from the rest of your day.

Are you able to travel to our wedding?

I’m happy to offer my photography services all over the UK as well as abroad, all expenses can be finalised at the time of booking.

Will we get a chance to meet up before the wedding?

You are invited to pop down to see me before booking or we can have a consultation after the booking to discuss all your requirements & expectations for your wedding. If you are unable to come see me, I will make every effort to come see you – alternatively we can arrange a meeting over Skype.

We love your style, how do we book?

The first step is to get in touch to make sure that I am available for your wedding date. We can discuss all your requirements & once you are happy to book we will get the ball rolling.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask 🙂

All the above packages & prices are for your reference & will be finalised at the time of booking; Products & prices are subject to change (updated as of 01/10/2017); Bookings are subject to contract – Terms & Conditions apply.
